ABOUT THE CKM MARCHING BAND

Sacramento's McClatchy High School had a marching band program from 1937 until 2014. The band was a fixture in the community, performing in parades, sports games, and field/indoor/concert competitions.

The program helped develop generations of musicians while also promoting physical activity, teamwork, and leadership. After years of performances, noise complaints, and memories, it was discontinued in 2014 to focus more on concert music. Learn more about the current music program here.

The band was discontinued just as content sharing was becoming more widespread, but that doesn't mean there isn't any content online!
